Scale has done data labeling for text based tasks for years at this point. Describing images, transcribing audio, categorizing products, etc. But with the rise of the LLMs and RLHF, Scale had to dramatically step its UI/UX. Not only was the tasking more complex, but the taskers were now experts and PhDs with high expectations. We had to build a new tasking interface from the ground up to improve throughput, quality, and user experience.
